We are on the lookout for a diligent and experienced Associate Attorney specializing in Litigation Practice to join our illustrious team of legal professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and to keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations.
- Analyze probable outcomes of cases using knowledge of legal precedents, providing critical insights for case strategy.
- Maintain open and clear communication lines with clients, updating them on case progress and legal developments, and advising them on their legal rights and obligations.
- Prepare and draft legal briefs, motions, pleadings, and other essential legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
- Represent clients with vigor and professionalism in both federal and state courts, attending hearings, depositions, and other case-related events.
- Manage and litigate cases independently, emphasizing the ability to drive cases forward with limited partner supervision and ensuring meticulous management and documentation of case files.
- Collaborate effectively with senior attorneys in trial preparation and during the trial, contributing to the development of strategies and arguments for the presentation of cases.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate the ability to manage and litigate cases independently with limited partner supervision.
- Hold a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in California.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation, particularly in both federal and state courts.
- Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Possess exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
- Be proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Maintain high professional ethics and integrity.
